Our Scenarios Have a New Tone!

One of the most important parts of Foibles are the scenarios. They give context to each game and can really make or break player engagement and immersion. After years of playtesting we have a pretty good idea which scenarios our players enjoy, and others that need work. We are close to reaching our goal of 30 complete scenarios for the base game and right now we are in the process of rewriting all of the scenarios to add clarity and tone. I have been really enjoying the recent rewrites, thanks to Sophie Tetreault. She definitely adds much more personality and a little bit of sass in the scenarios. Here are two side by side examples of the old and new scenarios. What do you think? Do you prefer the new style of writing?
